A beautiful property from the outside to the inside. All the staff was friendly and courteous especially Lisa Marie at the front desk. Great pool, ample parking, easy drive to many restaurants near the hotel. Overall a great experience.

The property was beautiful, safe and quiet. The staff didn't seem to speak much at all after we checked in. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was also comfortable. The property is romantic and historic. Even though it is not beachfront, it was nice that their sister resort did offer a beachfront. The breakfast picnic baskets were a nice surprise! However, staying for 4 consecutive nights, it would have been nice it they would have changed the items around instead of having the same choice every morning. Overall, a great, nice relaxing environment!

You have to visit this beautiful hotel!! It has an amazing history, there is detail in everything, we felt so pampered and just sitting in the terrace or at the pool looking at this amazing work of art, is breathtaking! Like my son said: I feel we are in a castle!

Amazing Gem

Amazing! Beautiful location, historical site with museum of property on site. Very relaxing and well appointed! The reciprocity with a nearby beachfront hotel was an added bonus which gave us easy access to Clearwater Beach. There are many cozy and relaxing nooks to sit and relax, it was difficult to leave! Definately will be back in near future!

WOW what can i say about this hotel - This is truly an amazing place with soooo much history - From the moment you walk in you feel like you are going back in time to a much grander era in time. The pool is fantastic too - For breakfast each morning a basket is left outside your bedroom door with a fruit juice, an apple and a croissant with butter and jam. There is also a small shop selling drinks and snacks
