Cora Sun Hotel

"A very large apartment type room with a separate bedroom, lounge, kitchen and balcony. This was a great combination of self-catering facilities but with room service cleaning, and hotel amenities like bars, gym, and pools. Load of space for luggage and to spread out. The hotel was fairly recently built so in general looks new. The room fixtures were high spec and very functional (e.g. rain shower head, granite worktops in the kitchen, large balcony with full table and chairs). However the sofa could have been a little more comfortable. The location was good being very near Qawra and walkable to St Pauls bay area. A 24 hour supermarket is about 2 minutes walk away and excellent ice cream shop not much further (Il gusto del gelato). A good choice for families who need space and want the option of cooking a little as well as eating out."

"The staff was very friendly and the gym was a great addition. The pool side is very relaxing and it is conviently located to get to many different beach areas around the island. Would rebook again when returning to Malta."

"First the positives: the staff - front desk especially - were great. Very friendly and helpful and polite. The price we paid was very reasonable for this time of the year (high season). The room was very spacious. The Internet was good enough. The breakfast menu, although limited, was good and hearty. There are restaurants and supermarkets on the same street and very close by too. On the downside: The main issue we faced was finding an available parking spot near and around the hotel - especially at night! To say that "street parking is available" on the description is not quite accurate. It is a lottery - depending on what time one looks for parking. On our last night after looking for parking several blocks away I had to park in an illegal spot. The other issue is the hotel needs upgrading work in the rooms."

"Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms comfy and clean. Good selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Good hotel. Stayed several times. We will be back again soon. "

"Great location , the only thing is the pool Closes at 6pm , not sure why , breakfast bar was amazing , staff very helpful but seemed very overwhelmed at the pool area with food and drinks ."
