"This is a lovely little hotel about 5min walk from the train station and 1 min from the epic Roman Remains, pedestrianised shopping/eating area. The location was perfect and the lady at Reception was lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about Trier. We both slept well on the comfortable beds. The shower room was great, good water pressure. This is a good old fashioned hotel - there is no WiFi in the rooms but there is in the lobby. (But there is a telephone and landline in the room!!)"

The rooms are well designed for storage of luggage and they are tastefully furnished. The location of the hotel is also excellent … in the city centre, and with restaurants just outside the door, in the beautiful square the hotel opens out onto. Excellent in every way!"

"My single room was very hot. No air conditioning. I had to leave my window open to only awaken to 7 wasps. I couldn’t use my toilet because four of them were swarming around in there. I am very allergic to insect bites. The hotel manager reacted quickly and moved me to another room with air conditioning and no wasp problem. Clearly an upgraded single room but I lucky not to be stung by any of the wasps. Location is convenient and easy to get to with luggage from the train station."
