"On first appearances (photos on the net, etc.), it’s easy to mistake this all-inclusive hotel/small resort overlooking Castries for a fairly modest property. But it punches well above its weight class. The pools and pool decks are lovely, the grounds are immaculately well-kept (complete with organic farm sloping down from the lower pool), the food is good, the drinks flow freely, the rooms are clean and up-to-date, everything works, and – above all else – the staff are absolutely wonderful. They’re attentive, warm, gracious and not at all shy on charisma. The icing on the cake for me was when my daughter had to cancel a day or two before she was scheduled to arrive, as she became quite sick back in Canada. The hotel had every right to penalize me for half her stay. But between management and the front desk, they decided to reimburse her stay in full. Unheard of. I should note that I stayed in two other resorts during my stay in St. Lucia, and while both are ranked in the most exclusive top 5 on the island, Bel Jou will always own a special place in my heart. "Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The swim up bar was fantastic and the trees and flowers around the property made it feel like you were in a rainforest. Fantastic place for a peaceful and relaxing week. Highly recommend and will be back!"

"Beautiful room perfect for our needs. Great view for sunsets and rainbows. Judith was and is always pleasant and we love seeing and talking with her. We will be back soon and will definitely stay in this same room. Price is a great value for what you get. Perfect for anyone on a budget that wants to experience an ocean view with balcony, kitchen with stove, oven, full sized refrigerator, large bathroom. Good AC, hot water and pressure. "

Shop around the corner across the road from Castries Airport and not far from the Ferry Port… 💯 I would stay here again and again"

"I chose this place because of the convenience to be able to walk to the ferry. I did walk to the ferry and it was a four minute walk that was very good. I can see the white residence from where I am standing at the ferry. And while I am at the residence, I can also see the ferry. All I have to do is print it out. It is easy to go there all you have to do from the main street in front of the house you walked and it leads you right to the ferry. That is so fine. Another thing that I love about the place is the fact that the gentleman who is the manager was respectful. The third most important part that I love about the place is that he held my suitcases for me for 24 hours plus I truly appreciate that. My suitcase was very heavy and the bag as well. it had important stuff, but everything were still present. I truly appreciate that he did me that favor which she did not have to. Again, Mr. James thank you so very much."
