Mario walked us through the check in process and was extremely accomodating with the rooms for me and my son's stay. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the Carson Mansion directly across the street on a quiet residential cul de sac with some view of the water. Plenty of toiletry supplies in bathroom and a full kitchen with coffee/ tea bar downstairs. Would highly recommend, especially if you are fan of history, architecture and interesting places. Close to downtown Eureka and near Woodley Island. Don't miss Dick Taylor craft chocolate if you visit Eureka!"

"Parking was good; small parking lot but enough for all the guests; The check out process was a little weird. No human behind the desk - a virtual assistant that took the place of a hotel clerk. Breakfast was a bit unusual, there was a guy there with a clipboard checking names and asking what room the guests were in. ( seemed like fresh made pancakes, egg omelets, same size and style as the round pancakes, bagels, milk, cereal, fruit juices and something that smelled like coffee( very diluted). "
