"The aesthetics of the hotel were very beautiful, stylish, and hip. The staff was nice, and the downstairs lobby bar had a fun atmosphere. Overall, the hotel itself was nice. My only issue was with the room view. I booked a king room with a city view and was under the impression that I would at least be able to see the street from my room. Instead, the view overlooked the backs of other hotels and buildings, including air conditioning units and service areas. I also didn’t think the minibar setup was necessary. The beverage fridge was stocked with bar items, which felt unnecessary, especially since there’s a grocery store and drugstore directly across the street in New Orleans. That space could have been better used for a microwave or an empty mini fridge for guests to store their own beverages and snacks. The upstairs bar and pool area were nice but very small. If you want a good spot by the pool, you definitely need to get there early. Despite those things, I still enjoyed the hotel and thought it had a great vibe overall."

"From the moment we checked in until we checked out two days later, this was an outstanding experience. The rooms were excellent, clean and well stocked, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the on-site bar and restaurant were quite good, and they made parking a breeze (via valet). Convenient to everything you’d want to do in New Orleans, the Mazarin is a great place to rest and refresh. We will definitely be staying there again; highly recommended!"

"Do not stay at this property. The front desk staff whom was a man kept announcing everyone’s room number outloud. This is a motel where escorts work and the pictures are deceiving. The breakfast was nonexistent and there were bugs all over the floor in my room. The scariest part of my experience was receiving a conjoined room and waking up at 4 am to sounds of someone trying to enter my room. As soon as I turned the lights on the noises stopped and whoever was in the room next to me left. I told the man at the front desk that someone tried to get into my room and he said “who was it? You didn’t look out the window” i immediately checked out and lost money on a room they was not safe."

"Easy to find property. Convenient to amazing National WWII museum in New Orleans. Convenient parking. Did not use outdoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Last property remodel was 2016 so anticipate some small cosmetic updates are needed for the property. No GF gluten free bread options at breakfast available during our stay. "
