"I’ve stayed St Tregenna several times in the last 10 years. Staying in a castle room, in a hotel apartment and this time in a separate one bedroom apartment in a wooden barn type block. It’s a great walk into town through the estate. Check in was a little inconsistent and we weren’t offered a map - the people beside us were. We also weren’t asked if we wanted to add breakfast or told about bar and restaurant opening hours etc, missed opportunities. The apartment was clean - but tired. ...

"Excellently placed Hotel, close to all that St Ives has to offer, from a fine beach to the Tate Gallery. And only minutes walking from the rail station. Rooms have great sea views. Our room’s facilities were utilitarian but ok for a short stay. The Hotel’s small heated pool is a real asset. The restaurant is functional; the food is a little basic - our fish pies were rather sloppy and would have benefitted from more fish and less potato. Service was friendly and helpful throughout. "Super stay at the Hotel Boskerris. The hotel was modern, clean and beautiful. My room always nice and cool despite warm midday weather. The balcony looks on the bay so sunset cocktails really special. Easy access to public transport for non-drivers like me. Would highly recommend this property. "

"Firstly this was my second stay and I was not offered a free room upgrade as they advertise for their rewards plan. Upon arrival we was checking in and the guy at the desk told us the keys are in the door, we went around to the small building and there was no keys, the maintenance man (who was very nice) had to come and climb into the window, whilst he was doing this we realised the bench at the front of the cabin was completely disintegrating.
