The beds are really comfortable. We also absolutely loved the Chinese food menu. Ate at the hotel restaurant on several occasions because we loved the taste, and it was very convenient. "Very basic room, but sparkling clean, and the staff could not possibly have been more helpful and accommodating. A/C, refrigerator, and WiFi all worked great. Complimentary luggage storage was really good for us, since we could leave our luggage there when we had a gap between check out time and our ferry to San Pedro. I was hesitant about booking something south of the river, but my elderly mother and I felt completely safe walking around the immediate area. The balconies with river views were also a great place to sit, sip coffee, and watch boats go by. This place has no frills, but is a very safe and comfortable place to spend a night at an extremely reasonable price."

"Fort George was so great I can’t wait to come back. The staff was so helpful upon arrival. Kelsie answered any questions I had , they have a great taco Thursday , and the restaurant there is amazing. Fort george also had a great spa service and a great lounge for me to get work done. I wish I would’ve enjoyed their pool and gym more but this is hands down the best place to stay in Belize city thank you guys so much for the love you showed ."
