"Atholl house was one of our most favorite stays during our 14 day adventure. From check in to check out we felt so at home and cared for. It is a place you can truly kick back and relax like you are at home. So many thoughtful details have been put into place to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Breakfasts were lovely with wonderful light and healthier options than at other hotels or bed and breakfasts we tried out. Any person with any diet preferences would leave happy. Since we are speaking of food we chose to eat dinner there one evening. We enjoyed dinner thoroughly as well. They are within a very short walking distance to several other nice dinner options. They had a very thorough guide of hikes and places to see while in the area. The rooms had the most comfortable beds and pillows. The shower was a lovely size. Truly it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely book again if I make it back to Scotland!"
"This hotel has a lovely view from the entrance and restaurant. Up on the hill, we had a large room but found the water view to be not what we had expected and hoped for. The food was good at the restaurant for dinner but the service could increase their attentiveness as we felt forgotten during our meal. Our service and experience at breakfast was better and the breakfast was very good."
"Exceptional views and very comfortable accommodation! Only suggestion for the owner would be to fasten the dishwasher unit to the cabinets as it tipped forward every time it was opened. We loved this location- so peaceful and wonderful to be so close to all the sheep and cows!"
"The hotel is a special find once you travel down a country road. The room was spacious, the facilities were very clean, and the food in the restaurant was excellent! I must admit that one of my favorite parts of the stay was seeing all the baby sheep. So sweet!"
"The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"
"We found everything to be absolutely spot on for our two night stay.
Only problem we found was the approach road to the property from the main road. It is absolutely full of potholes .The local council have responsibility for this apparently and given that there are quite a few properties including holiday lets on this road you would think they'd make some effort to improve it."
"Incredible once-of-a-lifetime experience in a cottage in the Highlands. I had such a wonderful time with my family in our “little home” for 3 days. Gorgeous views. Gorgeous house. Able to disconnect from stress."
