"The breakfasts were always delicious and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was just perfect, too. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!"
"I chose this hotel because of its prestigious name and prime location, but unfortunately my experience did not live up to expectations.
From the moment we arrived, there were serious concerns. The entire hotel—both inside and outside—consistently smelled like marijuana, which was very off-putting, especially while traveling with my daughter. When we returned at night from an event at the convention center, the entrance felt chaotic and unsafe. The valet area was overcrowded with people lingering around the doors, making it difficult for us to even enter the hotel. It was unclear whether these individuals were guests, staff, or just random people, but the situation was uncomfortable and poorly managed.
Breakfast was another major disappointment. We had prepaid for breakfast as part of our stay, yet the charges did not reflect that. For two avocado toasts with eggs, one chia seed pudding, and two coffees, we were billed nearly $80. This felt excessive and confusing, especially given that breakfast was supposed to be included.
Overall, while the location and brand reputation initially drew me in, the lack of cleanliness, security concerns, and questionable billing practices made this a very disappointing stay. I expected much more based on the hotel’s name and pricing.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, St. Charles Historic District
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was always good. Parking was convenient and safe. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. However, an upgrade to the elevator would be a huge plus...as well as install a second elevator. Too much time was spent trying to get up and down."
