Hotels near St Augustine Antique Emporium

"This was our first time to Saint Augustine. The Hilton Bayfront Hotel was in a great location literally steps away from St. George Street in the histoiric section of town. We arrived early at around 12 noon although checkin was at 4:00pm. They had our room ready for us at 2:30pm. Beverly at the main desk was very good at taking care of any questions we had. Trevor the valet made sure our EV was charged before our return trip home. Our room, #102, was very nice and well appointed. It was on the main road where other reviewers complained of road noice but that was not our experience. The rest of the hotel staff especially in the dining area were excellent. I think there are a few minor items that could be improved upon. We found the lobby music some what loud especiall in the morning when breakfast was being served. Also the chaise lounge chairs by the pool really could use cushions. Finally the dining offered for breakfast was convenient and since we prepaid for the breakfast with our hotel fee we ate there each morning. I would probably look elsewhere next time since there were many options in the immediate area. We did not have dinner at the hotel since we found the menu limited to only seven entrees. Again there were numerours dining options in the area. Would we stay here again?Absolutely."

"My first room was not fully clean and the a/c was broken. After asking more than once for help with these problems, I was moved into a new room, which smelled so strongly of smoke (it was supposed to be non-smoking) that I checked out. Management agreed to refund me for my stay, but I’m still waiting."

"We arrived a day early, staff was very accommodating adding an extra day. I reserved a accessible room with roll-in shower. I use a walker and wheelchair. The rooms are spacious enough to use a power wheelchair easily. The only issue I had was the slope in the shower floor is so deep, makes using a walker quite difficult. "

"The location was great so you could walk to all the attractions, restaurants and museums. We were happy parking was inexpensive and that you didn’t have to valet park so you could just pick up and go quickly. The trolley also picked up by the hotel. There is a brewery that you could tour free by the hotel as well as a few restaurants. The Chocolate Factory and factory is right by the hotel too."

"Room was clean but had a strong odor. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very mediocre and the same every day. Property was older and outdated. Was sent email from hotels.com that I would receive a free drink for each person in the room but they didn’t do this and said they didn’t have drinks at all not soda or water or anything."
