"Ice machine on 3rd floor not on. Fridge in our room was not very cold. Breakfast was bad. Waffle maker not turned on. Juice machine did not work. "

"This is my second time staying in this hotel And We booked 3 rooms. My fist stay is fine no complaints. But this time I was so disappointed. Stayed 3 nights. They didn’t clean our room, when you ask them to clean they said they are busy. You have to go to reception to get your towels, toilet paper, shampoo. I went down to get coffee and the coffee pot is already empty and the girl from the reception said she still have to make and I have to wait for 10 minutes. So I just end up making my coffee in our room. I thought it would be easier to get coffee downstairs because it’s already made and will save them from cleaning the coffee maker. "

"The Prime Rate Inn remains the worst hotel or motel stay in decades, this from a very experienced traveler. The Inn is rundown, with shoddy worn out furniture, that connects with travelling contractors and homeless people with low standards. The front desk is surrounded by plastic, to address security concerns. You'll notice the smell of mold, covered by cleaning chemicals upon entry. Rooms have poor accommodations, with cheap towels and plastic cups and noisy old window units. The pool is a leftover from when this may have been a decent '70's family oriented venue. While the price was relatively low, it was comparable to peer hotels in much better condition. It was noisy at night with contractors drinking in the parking lot. The staff was powerless and there was no manager on site past 4:30. "Breakfast" was burnt coffee and Twinkie donuts or instant cocoa. I would not have been surprised to see hourly rates for "entertainers." While I could go on, the message is simple - avoid the Prime Rate Inn unless you enjoy squalor. It is a small step above sleeping on the street (which is clearly one source of the clientele)"

"The property is undergoing renovations - so it was quite congested at the front desk. It took over 40 minutes to get checked in. Cleanliness is ok at this property, lots of cigarette butts outside, the smell of pot smokers is annoying and disgusting as well. I did enjoy the overall vibe of decor in the room, however some basic maintenance could be completed - our shower handle came off twice, thankfully it just popped back on. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear anyone talking in the hallway. We stayed in the Promenade Tower King Room - for $270 we expected much more than we received. Food was decent at one of the two restaurants that we tried while there. Value was good for food. Drinks at the concert were a decent price point as well. Concert was PHENOMENAL - The accoustics and seats were very good. I will go here for another concert but probably would not stay overnight again."

"The rooms were supposedly non-smoking but had a stale smoke smell, especially on the third floor. There was no screen on our window even though we were able to open the window. There were loose tiles on the bathroom floor, so we needed to be careful not to injure ourselves. The light in the elevator area was out during our stay and others mentioned it had been out all weekend. Then there was the pool area; the chlorine and other chemicals were so strong I could not stand being in the pool area for more than 15-30 min tops. All the kids in our group complained of their skin and eyes being irritated by the water. All of us, especially the kids had a cough that night from the pool chemicals. It was horrible! The breakfast was poor by continental breakfast standards. Overall it was a bad experience, we will not be returning and would not recommend to others."

"Hut tub wasn't working. Ran into a few staff in the hall- never a "hello" or acknowledgement. Just needs some updates. The vents in the bathroom were rusty- a little paint or just a replacement would go far. It was fine over all- we weren't there very long, but I wouldn't want to stay a long time. Something was wrong with the waffles or the maker. They just tasted off to all of us. The location was good. There is no elevator and I think that should be advertised more."
