What a lovely stay we had here! Rooms are spacious, clean and charming. There is a private gate entrance with an open area to relax. The staff is phenomenal providing anything needed to all guests. Close to shops and restaurants just loved our stay here!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was large and clean and located in an area out of the louder section of town near the Riva, but within walking distance to everything. Would recommend and would return the next time we are visiting.

The room was very clean and cozy. Sanja was so sweet, accessible and willing to be flexible with check in/out time since we had some weird flight times! Lanterna Rooms is located in the perfect spot with walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants around Split and not too far from the beautiful beaches!

Sanja, the owner, made our stay extra special. Since this hotel is in a pedestrian friendly neighborhood, the taxi cannot give you front door service. Sanja met us in the dark at the Taxi station and actually assisted us with our bags. The hotel is very quaint and in the perfect location if you're looking to stay in old town Split. You can walk to everything. Sanja gave us a map and recommended an amazing restaurant for breakfast called Ciri Biri Bella which was very close to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! Sanja was wonderful and recommended an amazing restaurant around the corner for our first night. And the location was very convenient; everything we wanted was in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous serene accommodation!

The Laterna is an amazing place to stay. The service is impeccable, the courtyard a gem to relax and rest away from the city life and the bedroom was serene and incredibly comfortable. The room is a little larger than other places so you can move around more. The staff is kind and generous and helpful on many topics. Highly recommend!

Wonderful staff. Arrived early by overnight ferry and was able to leave our bags at property until check in. Great location and walkable to and from the ferry. Great advice given for spots to visit kn your stay.

Property was great in a pretty centrally located area with loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Staff were nice and friendly and we really appreciated all the amenities in the room. It wasn’t the easiest place to find at first so some directions would be handy.

This was a quant little boutique hotel in the heart of everything which we loved! The check in was easy and the check out was equally as great. The host had great communication with us and gave us some very good recommendations on where to eat and what to do/see. Our room was a bit small and our view was of a bar/street but we were ok with it as it got quiet around 11 so it didn’t disturb our sleep. The little court yard was cute although we didn’t use it as someone was always using it when we thought about it but that’s ok! All in all I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a boutique hotel in the heart of everything! Dining, bars, shops all right around the corner from the hotel!

Loved this location

Lanterna Rooms were absolutely lovely. Our room was beautiful—clean, spacious, and perfectly located. It was within easy walking distance to all the highlights of Split: restaurants, shops, the port, and conveniently close to access transportation like Uber to leave the city center. Everyone we interacted with at the property was kind, helpful, and welcoming. If you’re planning to explore the Old Town area, this is a fantastic place to stay. While the Old Town is generally quite busy, the room itself is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot that made for a perfect first night in Split before boarding our boat. Highly recommended!

Beautiful rooms, excellent location!

Location was excellent! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts were pleasant and helpful. We had a bit of a challenge locating the exact address as it was at the end of a small alley. There are two flights of stairs to get to the rooms so it may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Wonderful stay, very close to everything in Split

We had a wonderful stay at Laterna Rooms. The location was excellent, very close to the centre of Old Town Split, but tucked along a little alley which made it very quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower head wouldn’t stay in place (our only complaint) but that didn’t detract from our stay. They were very accommodating with check-in/out and the room was cleaned after our first night (unexpected but very grateful).

Cute boutique hotel with only like 5-6 rooms. The room was nice and spacious. The location was perfect inside the Old Town. The only drawback is that it was pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday night (had to wear ear plugs) but not on other nights. Note that cars are not allowed in the Old Town but the hotel is very close to the town’s access so you only need to roll your luggage a couple of blocks (and it’s flat).

Short stay in Split

In car exclusion area so 6 minutes from off road car park. Receptionist excellent and very helpful. Nice room but overlooking bars and cafe so noisy outside at night and rooms not well soundproofed, so not a great night’s sleep. However, well located for walking to old town and harbour. Would recommend the ferry trip to Hvar (TP ferries).

Have just spent 3N staying at this lovely, quaint hotel. Great communication before arrival and an airport transfer was arranged. I was then met by the receptionist who walked me to the hotel. Very happy with the location as it was an easy 5 min walk to the Riva promenade. Room very clean and feels newly renovated. Amazing water pressure. Hotel felt safe as there is a locked gate upon entry.

Lovely little place to stay, rooms are very clean and well kept. Staff are friendly. It is located in an excellent area, can walk to pretty much everything. You can store your luggage there after you’ve checked out which is very helpful. Instructions to get to the property are clear and make it easy to find. The only issue is it can be noisy at night, there are bars and cafes right outside the window and it was very noisy the first night we stayed until very early morning. The other nights were quieter but you can still hear alot out of the window.
