"Beautiful boutique hotel. Far surpassed any other hotel in town with beautiful decor, amenities, and amazing staff. Pick this hotel up and put it anywhere, it would be even with the best of the best."

"The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and provide a good variety of freshly prepared food. The only funny issue was the tv stations (in English) did not match the content. BBC presented American crime series while CNN followed live police events in various countries. If we return to Longyearbyen we will stay at the Vault."

"The rooms are small, but the common area has ample seating and is very welcoming. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and hallways depends highly on the other guests. On the outskirts of town so a hefty walk down (and especially back up) to the main shops and museums and gallery."

"Excellent service. Good price. Excellent breakfast. Clean facility. Nothing negative except shared bathroom is not my favorite—but the good price for the room makes up for that inconvenience."

"I have to say the building was spotless! The staff were very helpful. They phoned to get taxis and helped us where we wanted to go. The breakfast was good with a variety of food and drinks. When we were leaving they helped us find a place for our luggage so we didn't have to drag our bags around before we left. I can only praise them for being excellent!"
