The villa was absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the pool quickly became the kids’ best friend throughout the holiday. The old town of Rethymno was just a 20-minute drive away. "This is a special, peaceful and relaxing place. Vasily is an attentive host and gave us plenty of great recommendations for places to visit locally. He was proud to share his Cretan history and eco-farming techniques with us. We thoroughly recommend his farm tour.
We ate our breakfast and evening meals at Dalabelos, enjoying the home grown and locally sourced food, beautifully prepared by Maria.
Overall, this is a lovely spot for people looking for a peaceful and restorative place to stay...

"We had a fantastic relaxing time at Creta Royal hotel. Hotel staff were very professional and attentive. Hotel and room were spotless all areas cleaned everyday. Food was amazing both at breakfast and dinner with lots of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians something different everyday. Desserts were also varied and enjoyable.Beach and pool areas were wonderful. Enough chairs and parasols for everyone. Bus number 20 is 2 euros into rethymno old town easy and accessible. Bus is evey hour....

"Wir hatten eine Suite mit Privatpool.
Das Hotel liegt abseits von der Innenstadt, die man jedoch mit dem Bus im halben stündigen Abstand gut erreichen kann.
Eine einzige Taverne ist fußläufig in der Nähe, wenn man auswärts essen möchte.
Das Essen wird im Buffet angeboten.
Das Personal ist immer nett und höflich, aber es gibt viel Personal was kein englisch, deutsch oder selbst griechisch sprechen kann. Die Verständigung war somit schwierig.
Das Putzpersonal ist unfähig gewesen frische Handtücher...
