"note that this property was in the middle of a major renovation at the time of my stay. i was first given a non renovated room that had a non functioning heater and a non functioning tv, plus it recked of smoke despite being a no smoking room. changed room and got a renovated room which was nice, but unfinished, the frig spot and the microwave spot both empty, a desk but no chair and other. The wifi was also terrible service could never stay connected for more then 10 min. bottom line i would advice no one to book this place despite the very low price for at least 6 months after the date of this post....after 6 months i think it will be a very nice place, they opened way to soon.
ps if you have kids they will be disappointed by the indoor pool and rec area closed off"
"overall, our stay was okay. although the hotel bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable to sleep. We did notice our room was not stock with toilet tissues properly and shampoo, but we manage to sequence the life out of what is left in the bottle for one night shower and forgot to mention to the clerk so hope the next guest is fully stock for. "
"We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant was closed for the day/evening. We look for a hotel with that amenity so we don’t have to venture outside. There was nothing on their website about it. We would not have stayed there if we had known. It is disappointing to have no communication about that until you show up at the property. "
"Unfortunately there is construction going on and it appears to have wrecked havoc with the property; no dining room, limited room essentials, etc.. Location is fabulous for events at the La Crosse Center."
"Heater didn’t work had to change rooms. Pet charge was high. Doors stuck - hard to open outside door. Nice host at front desk but thick accent. When we had to move to another room they didn’t offer us any help. They made it look like it was our fault the heater didn’t work. Pet charge at nicer places was $15 but it was $25 here. Really adds up for each night and they don’t have to do anything for that $25."

"Breakfast was good. Pool chlorine was so strong the whole area had kids coughing uncontrollably and some had to leave. 4th floor room was clean but had such strong air freshener it caused headaches and asthma flare ups in my family. "
