"Communication was great. Apartment easy to find from directions & entry was simple once i got my head around the key codes. Apartment was clean & well appointed. Little bit of wear & tear but nothing to detract from the comfort & location. Have already booked up for my next stay in one of their other apartments in the same block."

"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed"

"Our stay was lovely but breakfast was only served until 9am so you have to get up not to miss it. The cottage was lovely, well equipped for self catering option. We will take our breakfast next time The grounds of the cottage are beautiful. We will definitely stay again. "

"Really liked this hotel. The customer service was beautiful. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel which such good customer service, and I stay in a lot of hotels. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice ambience in the bar area and a lovely spa. Excellent hotel gym. "

"Spa felt a little out dated and felt like a swimming pool. Not a spa retreat, if I paid for a spa retreat I would have been unhappy. Stream room very basic… as an example. Parking not enough space must have been an event on. Staff very friendly food was amazing golf course very good but slow on kernow course and effected game"

"Second stay at this lovely independent hotel. Even better than the first stay as no issue with a squeaky bed this time and everything else was as good as before. Great location near The Hoe and a short walk down to the city centre. Brought my car this time and parking was no problem. All staff, both on reception and at breakfast were happy and smiling, which costs nothing but makes a big difference. Look forward to returning. "
