"I was so pleasantly surprised when I stayed here while road-trip. The staff couldn’t have been any more hospitable, lovely people. "Broken Hot Tub, I was told by staff it had been broke for months and no plans to fix it,broke elevator, room not ready at 4 PM. Didn't get room until 5:30. No non-alcoholic beer. No mixer for a Bloody Mary. Broken toilet paper hanger. Went to front desk and put in a request for a 4:45 AM wakeup. NO WAKEUP!! GOOD STUFF: friendly staff, streaming TVs, good internet, good location, comfortable bed, dog friendly. We left the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley Maryland and went to the Embassy Suites in Charleston Historic District. My wife and I will stay at the Hunt Valley Embassy again we will not stay at the Embassy Suites in historic Charleston it was not worth the money. They could take a lesson from Hunt Valley!!"

"Super convenient location at Inner Harbor. Very walkable. Spacious rooms, ac works well. Slightly dated but nothing terrible. Beds are okay but could be slightly softer. Rooms are fairly quiet except the door to each of the rooms slam. Bathroom light wouldn’t come on unless you turned the bathroom fan on. Not ideal in the middle of the night. Elevators are a little slow but I like that you need a room key to use them. No sign of valet parking attendants but lot is not far. Will definitely be back."

"The elevator wasn’t working. I’m disabled and my room was on the 3rd floor. The lobby smells terrible. Idk if it was the staffs body odor or what. Terrible. Smell. Rest of the hotel and room smelled fresh but heavily masked by spray and product but ok. Breakfast area smelled like mold and waffles. Very weird. Idk if I’ll stay again."

"Granted it was memorial weekend but I was surprised Hyatt had trouble handling the volume of people waiting for breakfast. Breakfast is very nice. The matre D did the best he could. I was disappointed in the dress and polish of the employees working the front desk to greet people. I thought Hyatt had higher standards. Location is great and rooms are clean. I asked for a roller bed clerk said 10-15 mins delivery to my room. After an hour I called front desk.. she said yes I see your request. After another hour she says there are no more left. That was terrible service. You either have a bed for me or you don’t when I first put the request in!"
