"Just checked out from a six-night stay here. LOVED my room - a business room with a sea view. I normally don’t get too hung up on sea views but this one was special. Spent a lot of room time sitting in my little alcove with its big bay windows, staring out to sea and the Tower of Refuge, contemplating the tides.
Perfectly located. Great for walking along the beautiful promenade and shopping along the Strand. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
The staff were wonderful and super helpful.
My room, and likely the hotel, did not have air conditioning. Normally this would have been a problem for me but I was quite comfortable during my stay. Still quiet to sleep with the windows open and there was a fan provided in the closet.
Stairs. There’s an elevator to bring you to your floor but stairs here and there to drag your suitcases up and down. It’s an odd setup but staff is happy to help if they notice or you ask for it.
Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order.
I’d stay here again. ☺️"
"Excellent room. The downside was there were no other teas, and the television had no internet connection - only Sky. Could not connect to other options... Expensive but very nice."
"Everything was great all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our we girl loved the pool and the play house We had dinner with you one night, we would have eaten more but, with our daughter’s egg allergy we found it hard for her to have food suitable. All the options she could have turned out they had egg in them even though it stated no egg on the menu. We stayed for 5 nights and one option was suitable. Staff seemed stressed, maybe more training to do with allergies may help.
We had a wonderful holiday and we will
Be back."
"We rented a luxury apartment. It had a spacious living area with all you need for self catering. Housekeeper there to welcome us and show us to the room. Like the fact you can have your apartment serviced - clean towels etc. If you have a car there are reserved spaces out the back in the car park. Only negatives were the apartment we rented was on the top floor (three flights of stairs) - no lift. So with heavy baggage it’s hard work but not a real problem for us. Bedroom is very small and only room for one bedside table and to store one case. The other had to be put in the living area. But on the whole it’s a nice quiet apartment in a quiet town but with easy access to most places in the Isle of Man and very near to the airport.
