"Overall we enjoyed our one night stay at Treescape resort. The grounds aren't spectacular but the location is great and the outdoor lagoon is nice and for the price we were happy. One of the outdoor pools wasn't open which was disappointing. We stayed in the cabins which have shared shower/toilet facilities which are minimalist. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked very well. The towels are terrible, bring your own! Major annoyance was lack of easily accessible drinking water."
"They put you in a motel that is so badly taken care of. For example, our floors were FILTHY, there was DRIED pee on the toilet seat (on the lid, not the bowl itself), the AC was blowing some type of material that looked like cigarette ash on the bottom bunk bed - wiping it was like you were swiping off cigarette ash. Not sure what it was but I'm willing to bet it's from horrible maintenance. Other than that, all staff we interacted with were extremely helpful and nice and deserve a raise. Both the water park and theme parks were amazing."
"Don’t book this place. It’s a smelly dump.
We showed up for our reservation after booking on Expedia and the building was run down. Nothing like the pictures.
We ran into another couple in the parking lot who showed up for a reservation as well and ended up leaving because she was so appalled with the condition of the place. The lady at the front desk told us to call Expedia to cancel.
When we called Expedia they told us that it was up to the front desk to do the refund.
They called The manager at the front desk and denied our refund and told Expedia to tell us to not try and call them to try and get the refund.
They charged 140 dollars plus a 16 dollar fee (for god knows what). 140 for a dump hotel."
"Staff member at check in was not super friendly. Never saw another staff member, no one was at the desk during checkout. Rooms need a refresh. Shower head fell off when I was getting in to shower, toilet runs. Otherwise, fine. Reasonably priced, breakfast was a typical hotel affair, pool and hot tub seemed relatively clean."
Atlantis Family Waterpark Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"When booking our stay we wanted to stay somewhere that would cater to our small child (almost 3) for water play. The Atlantis has 3 different water "park" areas and all open until 9pm which is perfect when considering time our son needs to stop and eat, go potty and nap! Open until 9pm gave him more than enough time to play without feeling we needed to rush through the day to enjoy our trip. They have an arcade my son was very excited about even though he was too small for most of the games he was happy to press buttons while mom and dad cheered him on. All the staff were kind and helpful when answering my many many questions especially when we decided to stay one more night! Specifically Michael who took the brunt of my many questions!! They were respectful towards my husband's affiliation to the VFW, patient with my questions and over accommodating when we added that third night, even allowing us to keep the same room. (Clean and comfortable to sleep and relax on the balcony) We didn't need full service housekeeping assistance but the women were available when we needed and very kind to swap out the things we DID need (our needs specifically) we didn't know this when booking but they DO have a washer and dryer available on the first floor we found by accident and it was such a bonus when as I said we added that extra day!
We're already looking forward to our next stay!"
