"I stayed the week after Christmas when it was 70 degrees the first day, then dropped to 24 degrees midday on the second day. The room was great at 70°, but at 24° the master bathroom was extremely cold. It’s a beautiful design aesthetically, but not very functional in freezing weather. It also had a large Jacuzzi tub that my daughter enjoyed 1st day, but I have bad knees and couldn’t use it. I planned to shower in the master bath, but the shower there wasn’t operable, so I used the smaller bathroom’s shower instead.
The location is great — about 15 minutes to town and only 5 minutes to Silver Dollar City, so it’s very convenient. I took the tour, and the improvements they’re working on look amazing. Once that water feature is finished, I think the prices will go up, but even as it is now, it’s a great value. Just know the master bath will be cold if you go during freezing weather."
