"Staff were very nice. That and the views were the only nice things about the place. The room was dirty, the only thing cleaned in the room was the bedding. Floors were sticky and dirty. Took my shoes off, after a bit took my socks off and they were disgusting. Threw them away. All the glass and mirrors were filmy and dirty. Counters were gross. This hotel needs a Z-pack and a facelift."

"The view of the lake from both the rooms in our 3rd-view suite was stunning, and the suite itself was lovely, plus the bed was super-comfortable.) Moreover, the hotel's superbly located for exploring the best of St. Joseph on foot. (It's only a short walk to the beach in one direction, and an even shorter walk to the heart of downtown in the opposite direction.) We had difficulty making the coffee-maker work but the front desk immediately sent a very helpful staff member to try and sort out the problem. When he couldn't do so either he came back a short while later with a new one. The dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was outstanding by any measure, and our server was excellent. Unfortunately, breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary. But it was the only blemish in an otherwise wonderful overnight stay."

"Chris the day manager was very rude. We did not have access to the pool. The tub had paint pealing from it and there was no microwave. When I said something to Chris she was hateful and rude indicating microwaves have been ordered and did not acknowledge the issue of the tub."

"Beautiful hotel at the outskirts of St. Joseph. Great restaurant, parking, pools and even anchor place for boats arriving for dinner. Modern and well equipped rooms, one of the nicest stays we ever had. Terrific place. This was our second time here and we'd come again."

"Went for a quick stay on memorial Day weekend get to the hotel and myself and five other sets of gas were told that their system was down and the previous night manager did not make a list of what rooms were clean and what rooms weren't. Was told by the front desk that I needed to cancel the room. I drove an hour and a half to get to this hotel and then was told I have to cancel. Tried to cancel through thehotel.com app. At least they were helpful but the property denied me a refund even though they didn't have the room I already paid for available to me. This is unacceptable. If you cannot honor your contract and update the staff on the most basic things like what rooms are clean then this hotel needs to be shut down and to deny a refund after you were told by the front desk clerk who is not at fault here who was as helpful as possible is unacceptable and fraud. I will never stay at that hotel ever and I hope you don't too."

"We stay here atleast 3 times a year for a mini family vacation. Always amazing staff , great location for places we want to go. Very clean, and comfy and quiet. They are remodeling outside and you can barely tell. No mess not real loud and very ni e workman."
