"The hotel is a great value for your money. The rooms have been nicely updated although there are some parts that are evidence of an older building. The whole carpeting is old but the rooms have all solid flooring. The best thing about it is the location."

" ⸻ We stayed at this lovely inn while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and the whole place had a peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s also in a great location, just a short drive or walk to downtown St. Joseph, which made exploring the area super convenient. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor downside was that the pool could have been a bit cleaner, but overall we had no complaints. We’d absolutely stay here again!"

"This is definitely a work in progress. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet for the most part and the staff was very friendly. It's clear a family has taken on the job of restoring this property to a new, beautiful standard. I was pleased with the location, the price and our room. The elevator is a little scary at the moment, but I'm sure it will be fixed. I look forward to seeing it fully restored."
