Top Southwest Colorado Hotel Reviews
Far View Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Consider that the facility is older, has a lot of visitors and is located in an extremely remote location. Despite these facts, the grounds are well-kept and provide extensive areas to walk and view really unique vistas. Our room was clean and cozy. There is internet but no TV and no cell phone service; however, you’re staying on the top of a remote mesa at 8000 ft. If you can’t survive without television, I recommend you bring portable Starlink. Did not think of trying to stream through the internet connection and that might be an option. Food at the restaurant was exceptionally good. You have a private balcony and shower water was plenty hot. Our stay was quite enjoyable and memorable. We drove in our own vehicle and the road is well- maintained and safe if maybe a little daunting. Great experience!"
The Grand Lodge, A Vail Resorts Property
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice and clean room."
Gateway Inn And Suites
10/10 Excellent
"The room and grounds were very clean. The maid service comes after your second night. They have a good breakfast with lots of extra to go goodies. The internet was reliable."
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Durango
8/10 Good
"This might be one of the most economic places to stay in Durango. I just wish they had other things at the property like a pool or gym but this is a basic place. Nothing fancy but it does provide what is needed, a place to stay. And a simple breakfast is included."
Boundary Hotel By Terra Vi Durango
10/10 Excellent
"Well renovated boutique hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, great amenities. We've stayed twice now and will stay again next time we are in Durango."
The Inn at Tomichi Village
8/10 Good
"Place is older but nice and clean. Pool was under construction and looked like it was at a pause. No workers working on it while we were there. Looked like it was going on for a while."
Historic Strater Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"100% would recommend staying here. It’s a slice of life in the late 1800’s. The room was clean and welcoming with authentic period furniture. We had drinks and appetizers at The Office Spiritorium which were amazing. There were preserved items from the hotel’s history in display cases, which were really interesting context for the hotel history. We also went over to the Diamond Belle Saloon for dinner and had such a great time listening to the piano music and experiencing an old west saloon. The food was great. All of the staff - the front desk and both restaurants we went to were very friendly and welcoming. Great place!"
Silver Ridge Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Nice older motor inn. Easy parking. Clean room."
Loyal Duke Lodge
8/10 Good
"Good breakfast - needs fresh fruit…:"
