Southwest Austin hotel rooms a the Omni

"The hotel is centrally located and near such attractions as as the State Capital, University of Texas, LBJ Museum and Library and Franklin BBQ. If you have a car know that there is no hotel lot to park your car. You have the choice of Valet parking which is $50.00/day or metered street parking. You can download an App to pay for the latter. Staff was very helpful and the hotel has a very good complimentary breakfast."

"Its not so much the hotel. We booked the embassy suites and when we fot there, we're told they overbooked and we did t have rooms! Shunted to Hilton, in a less than desirable neighborhood. Hilton was ok, but no where near we booked. 30 minaway."

"The Omni was great. The room was clean and everything looked bright and new. The property itself has a pretty bar/dining area downstairs, but we preferred to sit up by the pool for drinks as it was more relaxed and had music. It was an easy stay and also quiet. We stayed at another hotel in Austin the last time--same price range--and the room was super loud and the room not very nice."

"room had hair on the bed. and shower. there was no hot water. nowhere does it state that you have to pay for parking. the tv did not work either. "
