"Great Location, Excellent Staff, Comfortable Stay I had a very pleasant stay at the Old Capitol Hotel in Sacramento. The biggest highlights were the excellent hotel staff, who were friendly, helpful, and made check-in and check-out easy. The bed was amazing very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, which made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially if you’re attending events at the convention center. It’s an easy walk, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. I also appreciated the well-lit parking area, which felt safer and more convenient than street parking downtown. The main downside is that some of the furniture and the elevator, carpets, are showing their age but in ok acceptable condition but not the level of stay for $372.04 ( after taxes but that is with VIP points and gold tier one key discounts.) However, despite that, the overall condition of the hotel is still good, and the cleanliness of the room and bedding stood out.The staff was informative and prompt. Overall: A solid choice for anyone visiting Sacramento who values a great location, excellent service, and a comfortable, clean bed. I’d stay here again."
