"Other than the staff not being the friendliest our stay was great. They have a great pool and nice big rooms that were clean."

"Hotel and rooms were nice and clean. I enjoyed our king bed and had plenty of pillows. The one negative for me was check-in. The parking ramp is on the backside of the hotel but to access the hotel from there you have to walk through the whole casino. Not good for us since there is security to enter through here and my wife has health issues so she is in a wheelchair and couldn’t help carry anything. When we pulled in to check-in they would not allow us to leave the car without at least one person staying behind in the car (I now realize this was probably to get us to use their valet parking). It was only me and my wife and I had to push her in the wheelchair, so no way to unload the car and park here with one of us staying in the vehicle. When I questioned the clerk upon registering if I am supposed to go to the ramp behind the hotel to park, she responded you can do that, it’s free. (Again, I realize now their preference was to have me pay for valet parking, but we just wanted to unload quickly and get to the Brewer game). Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel."

"Very clean. Breakfast was excellent."

The Pfister Hotel

"I loved the beautiful, historic common places and the artwork. The view from the pool and the restaurant are marvelous, and I liked that the pool opened at 6AM so I could take a relaxing morning swim. Front desk staff was very good. The concierge was very helpful and remembered my name when I spoke with her a second time. The Victorian afternoon tea was lovely. Classy place. I was traveling alone but it would be a perfect place for a romantic weekend or an event weekend. Also, not far from the River Walk, so a good place to stay for a fun weekend like for Octoberfest. I enjoyed watching the World Cup at several River Walk spots"

"Ok ,1st the hospitality was great upon arrival, bell hop was super helpful, check in was lovely, fast and efficient. Then I needed hand soap, and this became a 16hr long request, when I finally spoke to the day manager, who I asked the day before her apology was scripted. Still not resolved and didn’t take the time to actually listen to me. Jessica at the front desk was fantastic, she listened and we got to the conclusion that the hand and bath wash is the same product, just I only had one in my tub/shower. And not one on the “wall” by my wash sink, which could’ve been over looked due to new construction. The bar staff has been very friendly! The pool bar does charge a 20% on tab, but no other F&B did and I was not notified of this, in the bartender defense she recon cash tip from me, and said she didn’t add the auto gratuity and offered to give it back, due to us tipping her in cash, which of course I DENIED! She was great. However for such a new place IF management would take time to listen to the new guests , some of these things will further help ensure 100% satisfaction! That was our 1st night , we have 3 more."
