"Please do not believe the negative reviews. We stayed here for 1 night to see if we would extend it or leave the next day and make our way to San Carlos.
From the first interaction we had with front desk. Young lad was very welcoming and since it was somewhat too early to check in, we were hoping to drop our bags and venture out. He was kind to accommodate us, he called the bell hop who also went above and beyond. Went to our room, then the AC, TV and tried the lights. He let us know as he was leaving the room, if anything is needed please pick up handset and dial 0.
We were so surprised how big the bed is. I guess here they refer it to superior which it was a massive bed. Didn’t have to worry about falling off or getting kicked in the middle of the night.
1st night was quiet and woke up refreshed.
Made our way downstairs to retrieve our breakfast vouchers. Met with wonderful gal who verified our room and made our way to Oeste. Now they have Oeste and El Jardín but only Oeste is included. Waiter was very welcoming. They offered scrambled eggs, beans, chilaquiles. Yogurt fruit and granola.
Now for the people who say it needs work, too old, key cards smells etc. Then I would strongly suggest booking in San Carlos or Holiday Inn. You can have luxury on a budget.
