"If you like Victorian charm this is your place! We have visited this property many times over 50 years we stayed here in our honeymoon and this stay was for our 50 anniversary. We love the view, the charm, the architecture and the overall atmosphere. You can relax inside on the ample seating and enjoy the lake view or outside by the lake. They have their yellow tour buses and a beautiful dining room . Make a reservation for dinner before you arrive. The meal was delicious and served promptly. The service was excellent. Overall stay was great. There is no ac so use the fan that is provided."

"The room was very clean. We got a bunk bed room for my son and I which worked great, especially since the room was so small. We were only there for one night passing through during a long road trip, but it was a great place to stay. I would go back for a longer stay!"

"2nd stay at the Lodge...convenient location to attractions in town and within 10 minute drive of RMNP entrance. Saw a black bear & plenty of dear on the backside of the property. Larger Suites are the way to go."

"The hotel was very nice !! They have ice & filtered water at the end of each hall!! Bathrooms very spacious & toilet had privacy door! I wanted to spend my birthday at the pool & was sadly disappointed that the bar was closed !! So we had to go down to casino & bar would only let us purchase one drink each, so everyone had to go down separate!! VERY INCONVENIENT !!! Also the door leading out from pool area to outside jacuzzi was constantly sticking & hard to open!! The bar was open by pool on first day & very friendly bartender. Also when gambling you can only get one drink every 30 minutes!! That was VERY CRAZY!! Over all my group of 12 for my 60th birthday celebration was nice!!"

"Nice clean hotel. Pool was nice, “fitness center” consists of free weights and a stair climber that doesn’t work well. The elevators are slow, take the stairs if you’re in a hurry. Staff was superb. Breakfast was lackluster"
