"Everything at the hotel was very nice. The pool is nice size, great breakfast, friendly staff. My only complaint is, it's so close to the interstate, so you here truck noise throughout the night."

"The staff both at the front desk and in the breakfast area were great and professional! The pool and swimming area was clean, towels provided, all was good. Our room was fine, we stayed in a suite, great set up for my family. I believe that the bathroom floor could have been a tad cleaner…and my low rating on cleanliness came from the entryway and stairwell to the second floor! The carpet looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a while, that is a turn off! Please note we have stayed...

"Motel6, founded in 1962. The name came from the rates being $6 a night and 6% sale tax. A no frills motel. They have come a long way. Our stay was Wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, walk in shower, love the soft close toilet seats and the music in the halls. The rates are still very good. No pool or hotub, but half the time hotubs are out of order and the pools are so busy or the water is too cold. We loved it here and will return."

"Very large room with a decent view of the river area. The hotel is a single floor of a 5 story multipurpose building, and has an industrial vibe (exposed metal beams, polished concrete floors, etc.) Nice shower. As large as the bathroom is, it has very limited counter space. The bed was too soft for my liking, but my wife liked it. a few items available for breakfast, but very limited. Overall a clean comfortable place - will probably stay again when we need to visit Mankato."
