"Always a hassle free trip when we stay with Sonesta in Lafayette LA. The rooms are always comfortable. Also having a mini kitchen in our room is a huge plus for us because we are 100% vegan and there aren't many vegan restaurant options in the area open all-day. So being able to prepare our meals in our room is so convenient."

"The Delta Downs was overall just ok. The pictures online really are misleading. It's more of an older renovated hotel w a basic casino. Just slot machines. The pool slide and jacuzzi were both out of order. The lobby smelled strongly of cigarettes, and this is an atmosphere for mostly ppl over the age of 55. The room itself was clean. I think it was definitely overpriced for what was advertised online."

""I rented a room here and was wrongfully charged a fee for getting makeup on a towel. On top of that, housekeeping was incredibly lazy—they refused to bring us extra towels, forcing me to go down to the front desk myself on my second night. The housekeeping supervisor clearly had an issue with us for no reason; we were never rude, yet she flat-out refused a standard late checkout request. To make matters worse, management refused to show me any proof of permanent damage to the towels and aggressively threatened to fight my bank with 'video evidence' if I disputed the charge. Watch out for hidden fees, terrible service, and bully management. Avoid this location!""
