"The A/C unit was not working properly when I got into my room. It was VERY warm in there, so I had turned it on right away. The maintenance man responded quickly and was able to get it working in short order.
The curtains had mold/mildew from condensation from the AC/Heat Unit.
The shower is designed for people under 5' tall. I am 5'8" and had to hunch down in order to wash my hair. The ceiling in the shower was also very low. A very tall person would likely struggle to comfortably shower.
The toilet did not flush completely. It would take 3 flushes to get the toilet paper to go down.
The breakfast was pretty good as far as breakfast goes with lots of options. I had an early morning appointment and was disappointed that there wasn't even coffee until it opened at 6:30. A hot pot with coffee would have been nice to start my day. However, there was a Caribou attached to the hotel, so I was able to get my caffeine fix for just a few dollars as I left.
There is an extra cost for parking and the parking ramp was full when I arrived. I was instructed to park at a ramp down the street. This garage was easy enough to find and only half a block away.
For the most part, the room was adequate. It is a reasonable priced option being across the street from the Mayo Clinic. Other hotels were certainly more money per night. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and it was quiet."
