"This was actually a lovely hotel and the most comfortable of our trip. We only spent one night here. The good points were comfy beds, great working air con, adjustable room temperature.
The downsides were - at check in we were told our room was different to the type we had booked. The changed room sounded like a downgrade and the staff member was not able to confirm if it had the same features. Couple that with it not being ready until nearly an hour after check in time on a hot & busy day where we had to hang around, delaying plans. I was not pleased. The hotel was not easy to find as it’s behind a lot of scaffolding, the google map position is wrong and the signage is minimal. Thank you to Zizzi staff who appeared like they answered the question of where the Z Hotel is all the time! I didn’t even have to ask, they pre-empted the question. And finally, if you have any issues with seeing who you are staying with on the toilet or in the shower this is not the hotel for you. It’s a sliding glass door with minimum frosting not even covering the full glass kind of situation…..
Did not opt for breakfast. "
"Friendly and helpful, hardworking staff in all areas. After a long journey to Bristol, the reception staff allowed us to access our room a good hour or so earlier then expected. Thank you so much. Responded to our requests for extra milk sachets promptly too. Very spacious, spotlessly clean deluxe double room on the 3rd floor. Comfortable bed with lovely Irish toiletries, very large fluffy towels, bottles of water, replenished daily, good food choices, reasonably priced and good beer too. Our 1st visit to Bristol, won't be our last and would be very happy to stay here again due to the comfort and service received. Liked being in the Old City area with shops, bars, historic buildings close by."
"Location was good. Most places walkable. Most Staff were very helpful. All had good knowledge of the area.
One slight thing was that only egg option was scrambled. Many hotels do that these days which I understand may be a way of providing mass catering economically. However, quite a number of guests may need another option."
"Perfect location, easy to get to via car with ample parking. Hotel was VERY nice with really polite and helpful staff, I’d highly recommend and stay again!"
