"Just stayed for one night at the Moxy last night in a Queen size room but would have certainly been happy to have stayed for longer if required. Just 3 years old, the hotel still looks fresh and well cared for. The place had a happy vibrant buzz with cheerful, polite and friendly staff. The rooms are modern, contemporary and stylish, with firnishings and fittings that maximise the space but are easy on the eye. They contain all you need for a relaxing stay. Perfectly clean with good quality pillows, a comfortable mattress and the whitest fluffiest towels I have seen in a long time. Conveniently situated for easy walking access to Plymouth city centre, the Barbican and the Hoe with parking both onsite ( small ) or very close by in Brunel Way car park in the road opposite ( 12 hours for £6.50). We didn't eat on site but did use the bar ( great night service) and were told that they could supply us with plates and cutlery if we wanted to order a takeway via Deliveroo. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay again and use the Moxy chain in other cities."

"Lovely boutique vibe at this motel behind Mollies Diner. Everything you want is provided with a smile, wonderfully comfortable bed in a clean stylish room and great shower. Complimentary tea & coffee & social area with 24hr bar in the lobby was a nice touch. Outdoor quad will be nice in the summer too. Will definitely use this chain again"

"Lovely hotel, elegant clean room. There was an excellent choice at breakfast in a spacious room. A huge bonus was Emmylou Harris and her band having breakfast together. The check in , check out, breakfast staff were really helpful even though the hotel was really busy. On the negative side, the room was a really long way from the lift and an event was going on with lots of loud music kept us awake until after midnight . Perhaps if you put the people attending the event on the 2nd floor so they aren’t in the noisy room would be helpful. Otherwise a treat to stay at the Marriott as I’ve only been there for conferences before. "
