"Most hotels have terrible restaurants attached but this independent Australian cafe serves AMAZING coffee and food including fresh smoked salmon bagels which was my go-to. Anyone who has been to Australia knows they LOVE good coffee Down Under which is apparent here. The area is SO nice to walk to the lake and sunbathe in the Summer, or go for a morning run around the park’s jogging track 2 blocks down. Having the living room area separate to the bedroom was a huge bonus for those in our party that wanted to nap. Amazing hotel! OH the views from the gym were awesome too on the top floor to see the city. Can’t wait to come back."

"Nice and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to bus stop (bus 20) takes you to Magnificent Mile, The Bean…and bus 8 took us right to Rate field for a White Sox game. Just blocks down from Randolph Ave… lots of fun outdoor eateries!! Only recommendation- don’t take a room next to elevator because you’ll hear it go up and down ALL night long."

"Loved the Palmer House Hotel!!! The lobby, amazing decoration! I even took a picture of it to post on social. The bar and restaurant area, very popular and looked like everyone was enjoying themselves! The room, well, not the best, but this was an occasion where I booked last minute and through a 3rd party on lalapalooza weekend. So, I was happy to just get a bed and a shower! But could use some upgrades. Overall, the help was extremely courteous and helpful. The amenities were perfectly accommodating and it gave me and my daughter a place to comfortably call home for the night! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"Our family loves to stay at the Hilton. It's close to many classic Chicago sites. You have a wonderful deep dish pizza around the corner. The staff are always friendly and efficient."
