"Breakfast was nice, room was a bit disappointing, no door separating the two bedrooms and "bathroom sink" everything was open. Soundproof was bad could hear the clubbing music loud and clear on the street. "

"Was disappointed during my last stay, and had hoped things had improved this stay. It’s obvious some renovation has happened but sadly the main building and ‘beach’ pool need a refurb. We did have some positive staff interactions but overall staff need to pay attention to detail - gardens and grounds (bottles left in flower beds, nappy on the lawn). Had to follow up on things. Still a beautiful location though."

"On first look it was clean but once you look a bit closer, back of most doors were dirty, inside cupboards were dirty, some of the linen was stained. Definitely could be a higher standard of clean. The permanent residents aren’t very friendly towards tourists in the complex. "

"It is complicated to get in. Had to ring and be guided. Nowhere to park when checking in. Not a simple relaxing check in experience. Told to specifically park in a designated car spot yet when we came back another car had parked in our spot! Annoying! Place was not what we expected at all. It’s clean but we were also looking straight at a busy roundabout of cars …. Would not go back. Was not a relaxing holiday apartment "

"My second stay at sandcastles and loved it. Room was spacious and definitely worth the money. They were also able to accommodate a early check in. 5min drive from Harbour Town 10-15 min drive to Australia Fair Mall No lift so carrying luggage up and down can be a pain but we think of it at exercise 😂 Will definitely book again 💯"

"so excited when I booked this property, it was higher price than most properties in surfers Paradise Gold Coast arrived. Everything is dated carpet in the hallways ice machines didn’t work the entire time on each floor bathrooms are a combination triangular Jacuzzi shower bathtub terrible open the mini bar fridge there’s dust mold not clean at all for the price. This place should be half the price. The only thing that saves this property are the ocean views from the ocean room which we booked. Staff is so so Summer wonderful but most don’t really care lastly departing on Sunday they have advertisements all over the hallways for a. c seafood buffet, unlimited champagne or beers for AU$110 when you get down to the buffet they tell you all the signs are wrong. It’s an additional $40 for the unlimited mimosas and beers loved our time.f the Gulf Coast, but probably would haver a property, especially for the high price"
