"We had a great view and spacious room in the 2 bedroom. However we did not realize that this was more of an apartment than a hotel, so available services were minimal. The restaurant was closed on Tuesdays and we arrived on a Monday - so no coffee to speak of in room. The restaurant was kind enough to give us enough to make a pot the next morning.
We did not use the pools, but they look very different (gray not blue) than the pictures.
All in all, would be a good place for a family to stay for a week at the beach (bring groceries), less so for a couple looking for a romantic hotel."
"This resort is one of the best I have been to. It’s quite large but well maintained. We stayed in an ocean view king bed room on the fourth floor, which was clean and nicely appointed, so we were quite happy.
Housekeeping specifically Tamara, decorated our room beautifully in celebration of our anniversary which included a bottle of wine. Very thoughtful, and much appreciated. She also made sure that our room was spotless each day of our stay. Thank you Tamara.
Eating and drinking at the resort is expensive which is the reason for my overall rating of 4 stars. Dinner for two $120+ ( no alcohol included). Breakfast buffet for two $70.00+. My husband liked to enjoy a Guinness at the bar in the evening after dinner $13.00. There is an automatic gratuity of 18% added to every food and drink order at all restaurants on and off the property, and a tip on top of that is appreciated. Hence the high prices.
With all that being said, this is a really lovely hotel with friendly staff and a great ambiance, and I would stay here again if I return to St. Kitts."
"Rooms were clean and spacy; resort was close to the beach with many bars and restaurants along the shore to chose from. Towels, padded chairs and umbrellas were provided for the beach at no cost. Taxi's to take you to Basseterre or other places of the Islands were easily available."
"This was undoubtedly one of the most unique and memorable experiences of my life. I cannot describe how exhilarating it was to see monkeys stopping by our cottage to drink water from our infinite pool, to take an outdoor bubble bath surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, to lay in the pool chaises and view more stars than I even knew existed. This place is totally remote and private. The beds are comfortable and the furnishings exquisite. The only slight disappointment was the speed of service for breakfast and dinner at the lodge. They weren't busy at all, but each meal took an incredibly long time. Also, google will send you on an impassible dirt road, so be sure to follow the driving directions on your confirmation email. But if you love luxury and the outdoors, this property delivers an experience that will stay with you forever."
