"Pros: -The room has been renovated so it didn't feel dated -Even though the room's floor had some hair, the overall cleanliness of the room is top-notched. -The night shift staff when we arrived were pleasant, very helpful (she even gave me toothpaste, and even some hotels don't have toothpaste available!) -WhiteSpot is just next to the motel, and there is a Macdonald across the street Con: -it is at least a 30 mins drive from downtown Victoria, so back and forth sometimes can be exhausting -noise insulation wasn't great since I can hear kids running and stomping around, but that's not the hotel's fault, more like the parents lol Overall Impression: I usually associate motel 6 as dingy and not so clean, so I'm pleasantly surprised and would stay there again."
