I really like this motel, it’s small but it’s so close to the beach, the staff there is friendly and nice! Me and my husband went for the weekend and honestly being in a super luxury hotel wasn’t in our plans & this one was perfect, will definitely use this Telly again

Right on the beach. However the images on website was slightly misleading. This is a motel renovated and still needs work. Staff was great, rooms clean but not what I was expecting. Shower was hard to turn on and off, bathroom door knob was not in ideal working conditions, things were patched versus new and smooth

I love the location right on the beach. Perla the receptionist was courteous and friendly. When we arrived our room was not ready and she upgraded the room to one with a view of the beach. Our room was clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, we had a small balcony to sit in the evenings and listen to the sound of the ocean. Its not a fancy hotel but if your looking for a hotel on the beach at a good price this is it.

We had the best time!! The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and the location is incredible. When they say “steps to the beach” it is literally steps to the beach. The patio actually opens up to the ocean. It’s beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Over all it was a great stay, very close to the beach, fun/friendly bar staff, and DJ on the weekends. Room was very clean when we arrived, restroom is small it could use an upgrade, but hey it's near the beach so it is what it is, and it's pet friendly. No ice machines available for your ice chest, you will have to buy it either there or at a store.

This was a good place, clean, friendly desk person, very helpful and outstanding GUEST SERVICE, love that there was a BAR as we were watching the Spurs, the BARTENDER was very good, great talker, interaction with everyone that was there and made it fun and we were there a bit too long only due to his excellent service he provided.

Overall, we had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the bar area was a nice place to relax. My only complaint is the parking. There wasn’t clear information about where guests were supposed to park, and unfortunately I ended up getting a parking ticket for parking in the wrong space. Better signage or clearer instructions at check-in would have made the experience perfect. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Easy access to the beach

I am a frequent visitor to South Padre Island and have previously stayed at the Coco Beach Hotel before it was renovated. I was pleasantly surprised to find the property in much better shape. I was happy with the location of the room we booked. The bed was comfortable and the linens were good. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool and quiet. The hotel has a beachside bar and restaurant which is convenient. Beach access is easy and close by. An excellent two-night stay with excellent weather!

Great beach access. Parking was very limited. Room was clean and well decorated. However they were no cups in the room, no coffee pot, no coffee at the restaurant in the morning, no blow dryer, you have to pay for ice. The bar had good drinks, breakfast was just ok, it was pricey for what was served. The staff was nice.

The shower in the room is extremely low. You have to kneel down or bend over to use it. It’s built for people who are 5ft or below. Location is great. Pool very small. I would say average motel style stay.
