"The view was outstanding. Can see face rock from the balcony and we enjoyed watching a group of horses walking by on the beach. The room is average and not very big. It would be nice if the sliding door had a screen so that it could be left open without having bugs get in. A fireplace would also be an added bonus. The pool and hot tub at the main building were clean and kept at appropriate temps."

"Can’t for a quick getaway for a night. Overall, lovely property, clean rooms, clean lobby and breakfast/conference room. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was the hot tub in pool area was not hot. It was actually a tad cooler than the main pool. Beat worked fine. Would have been nice to utilize the hot tub after dinner and sight seeing the Brookings area. Continental breakfast was some of the best I’ve had in a while in a budget/mid-budget lodging. I enjoyed the many hot breakfast offerings-oatmeal bar, biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, AND waffles plus the pastry assortment. Having different selections of coffee and teas was also much appreciated."

"Comfortable beds. Pretty quiet rooms, newer windows, rugs. Little misunderstanding about what is a room with a kitchen. The kitchen was just the small dorm room refrigerator and a microwave, a tiny sink. Not a kitchen just normal in room microwave dinners. Also no elevator but we were aware of this as its an older motel. Swimming pool was nice and hot tub worked and was clean and shocked several times per day. They even provide some smaller towels and it had seperate changing rooms. Overall our 5 day stay was Comfortable minus the kitchen we thought we had."
