"Let me start by saying I sought out the lowest rate in the area due to it being quick little trip as a solo traveler. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but I was not prepared for how bad this place would be based on the reviews. I am only writing this as a way to inform others so that their expectation are met when they book, not to hurt this business in any way. Here are the pros and cons: Cons: Cleanliness, privacy, accessibility - The sheets were clearly not changed/washed (ie. potential rodent droppings under the sheet, dirt/stain on sheets, someone’s hair on the sheet) -The patio area had old food on the chairs and was very dirty and old - The floors had old food (i hope) all over. Came right off on my shoe, so definitely something that was cleanable. -Pool area is very small and is right at the entrance, so no privacy from passerby’s -It is motel style, so you’ll have to take stairs outside to get to your room (not a big deal, but just fyi) -Can hear everything happening in rooms around you Pros: Staff, Location -The staff was nice, and helped me get a refund and cancellation within an hour of arriving, even though it is a bit of a hassle when booking/cancelling through Expedia - Close to airport, so Ubers to and from were very affordable - Easy beach access - Nearby lots of activities/restaurants/etc"

"This place is a DUMP!! Whoever took the pictures for the website is a genius. I was immediately horrified when I checked into my room but too tired to deal with it. The rooms need to be completely overhauled and remodeled. Old School Toilet that’s a low rider, almost on the floor. Dingy towels folded up like fans. I hadn’t seen a stove like that in quite some time, no dishwasher. ALL of the furniture needs to be replaced especially that in the kitchen/living area with the Oceanview including the chairs on the balcony. The room’s design is similar to a Shotgun House. I took a nap but could not sleep there because of the room’s condition. I sat on the balcony in a covered chair until morning with the security riding around disrupting the peace I was trying to find. A MESS!! I checked into a much nicer hotel the next day. I chose not to address the issues upon check in because I was extremely tired, and extremely MAD so I suffered in silence. NOTHING good would have resulted from having a conversation with anyone at that time. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the state of the room, in advance. The lobby doesn’t prepare you. I spoke with the Manager, Audrey, when I was ready to address the NIGHTMARE. She didn't care and could do nothing for me."

"We loved that the property was on the beach. The only thing was we were right in alignment with flights landing so it was quite noisy especially at night. Usually quiet by midnight. The elevator outside our room was especially noisy when being used. Bedroom was cleaned daily and bed was comfortable. The patio was sufficient and we loved being able to watch the morning sunrise. We had a breakfast package and it was totally worth it. Fresh and delicious!"

"everything was ok except the remodeling they said it was online that they’re remodeling when back didn’t see that. I checked in on Thursday starting complaining on Friday - Saturday. They told me I could get a refund for one day and find another place to stay. There was nothing they can do because I used a third party. Asked to hear every year this is a very trouble visit for what I paid. On my reviews they sent me back AI answers I can tell. The manager told me through party needs to give a better information worst day ever. I had to listen to noise for three days. I asked the guy to stop, but he said he could not not in his contract."

"We stayed on the 11th floor, ocean view. The hotel is an older hotel with amazing amenities. The room we stayed in was spacious and nice. I was afraid to look at the stove or breathe near it that it would fall apart. But I didn’t come to the beach to cook. But I was also surprised that it had a full kitchen. lol. Staff are friendly and helpful. My main problem was figuring out how to get from the south side/tower to the north. Maybe some maps on the elevator walls or paper maps would help that. The heated pools, lazy river, hot tubs make this a good winter/early spring hotel. We definitely will return next year Not sure what elevators other reviewers were talking about cause the south tower and garage elevators were very fast. Just remember the walk over bridge is 3rd floor of the garage and 4th floor in the hotel (had to tell ppl this many times lol) All in all this is an older but nice hotel with lots of water amenities (even a small waterpark across the street, seasonal), has restaurants and a poolside bar(we never used so can’t comment on) and lovely staff. We really enjoyed our stay."
