"We stayed in Greymouth on our way to the glaciers. The Copthorne was a good place to stay as it was clean and fairly modern. The room was comfortable for our one night stay. Parking was ample and free. We checked in about 6:30 pm and asked about dinner reservations. We were told the restaurant was closed for a private party (bus load of Chinese tour group). We found a good substitute about 4 blocks walk at Speight’s Ale House. We returned to the hotel about 8:30 pm and was going to get a beer at...
