"Check in & out was friendly & easy. Room was very clean as well as bathroom too. There was also a sofa, refrigerator & microwave. Spacious room to move around in and on the first floor. There’s no elevator so we appreciated it. Breakfast was basic fare, but good & well maintained. We had a quite peaceful nights sleep."
"We had a wonderful stay in the Guest Cabin. It was so very peaceful and relaxing sitting outside by the river. We enjoyed watching the geese and goslings and caught a glimpse of a foxes playing nearby. My husband enjoyed fishing off the bank. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. It was perfect for the two of us. We already have plans to return!"
"This place describes itself differently from the real experience
I arrived at 7 pm
Sign on the door says lobby closes at eight
I had no instructions about room or door key code in my email confirmation of booking the room just one hour before I arrived
An hour later someone returned our calls and gave me information to get into a room that was not as was described on the website also the amenities were not in working order and nobody on the property to actually maintain its facility
It was not safe for single women traveling and I would not ever reccomend this place
The supposedly place to eat was closed as well
False advertising
I wanted a refund and hotels. Com denied it I didn’t even stay in the room so it didn’t need cleaned
Which was not cleaned for me very well."
"We came in late and left early but everything was wonderful. My only complaint would be that I didn’t know for sure that we were supposed to be in the annex/motel so I walked around a little, knew I didn’t have a code for the main lodge door, and then tried my key at the annex."
"This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs on the original unit.
The office, staff and restaurant were outstanding."
