South Florida hotel rooms a the Independent

"There is a free shuttle from MIA. The room was clean, big and had everything we needed to stay the night before our cruise. It was also very well air-conditioned. There was transportation to the cruise Port with reasonable prices although we chose Uber. They have a pretty good breakfast (not included but yummy). The staff was really nice and check out was super easy."

"The hotel is Miami retro & really cute. Our room had a great vibe & lovely furnishings. We loved looking out our window & watching everyone walking down Miami Beach. The parking was $48 a night with no other option. The food in the hotel was not great. There was no room service. The shower faucets were boogie, but not effective. We loved the location, but wished we were directly on the beach. "

"Cool vibes, great views and tasty drinks!! Rooms on smallish side but with a European flair. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Staff at the front desk and concierge were very friendly! We booked a king lagoon view and were given a suite!!! We were so surprised and excited. Was a great way to start off our vacation! We appreciated the free airport shuttle as well as the cruise shuttle we purchased. The only drawback was that there was a dirty washcloth on the floor when we first entered our room. Other than that our stay was great! "
