"Great location to access the park over multiple days. We were there during April, off season, and the dining opportunities were extremely limited and busy. We were told at check in reservations for dinner at The Last Kind Words Saloon. Called to make reservations but were told they do not accept them. Luckily, they had a 2 seat high top available. The next night a 2 hour wait which would have been at the time the restaurant would have closed. Checked the ice cream shop which online advertised burgers, but they do not offer the food menu anymore. Then, checked out the buffet and decided pre-packaged sandwiches would be better from the store there. Frustrating after a long day of hiking and exploring. If we had known about the limitations of food availability, we would have brought food. "

"This property was extraordinary with over 40 peacocks, unique fun individually decorated rooms, awesome breakfast and a super fun top notch service staff. My only thing I would have liked better was a softer mattress. Everything else was wonderful. We loved out stay and chats with the owner and staff. "
