Dude Rancher Lodge

"Although older, the DRL was located in downtown, close to many shopping stores and restaurants. Unfortunately, there were quite a few homeless, aggressive people within the neighboring blocks that would have been fine if they hadn’t been…aggressive. The place was very clean, the room cute and comfy. The front desk attendants were very friendly and polite. The only issue we had at all with the DRL was the breakfast. The server seemed to be tweaking HARD. Her mouth and jaw were moving non stop and she wiped her nose several times and then brought out food without washing her hands. I watched her wiping her nose once at a table taking an order, and pocket her tissue. Two separate couples left after waiting for a clean table—our old server had disappeared twice for several minutes. It was an extremely disappointing, not to mention disgusting, end to our stay. Aside from the breakfast experience, everything else was great. Don’t eat there and you’ll be happy."

"Staff was nice, attentive and excellent. Some of the rooms are a bit dated/old. They lend binoculars and a walking stick which was nice. Theirs is a nice fire pit at night. River view is awesome. Close to Northern entrance of Yellowstone. Would stay here again."
