"During our stay, there was an issue with the water for the historic cabins. The day we checked in, there was no water until late afternoon. The following day, we were told the water would be shut off from 7:00-7:30AM. We hurried in the morning to get ready only to have the water be shut off at 6:45AM. Although it was only 15 minutes earlier than we were told, it was an inconvenience due to the timing of the shut off. The staff didn’t seem to understand our frustration which was disappointing.
Our cabin was quaint and very clean although the outside needed some repair. The lobby area of the hotel was very nice. We did not see the other cabins or the hotel rooms.
The location is fabulous for Mammoth Cave National Park. The visitor’s center is a two minute walk from the hotel lobby which was very convenient."
