We stayed here as a "stay-cation" for our son to swim. Pool area needs work...and the light bulb with exposed cord NEEDS REPLACED, but it was great to be able to swim. Rooms need work, but great value for the price. Great breakfast and comfy beds. Didn't appreciate not being able to take breakfast back to the room...but overall good value for the money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was VERY comfortable. The location is great, and they are dog friendly. But the room itself was very tired. The toilet wasn't seated well and the tank cycled repeatedly. The bathroom needed painting. You have to ask the front desk for a hair dryer. And you're not supposed to take any breakfast food, including coffee, back to your room!

Great Option for an inexpensive comfortable stay

Front desk staff were very helpful. There’s no elevator, but they jumped in and carried our suitcases up the stairs for me. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A couple breakfast items were a little stale, but they had plenty of good options.

3 day 2 night stay in South Bend for conference at ND. Hotel is fine if all you need is an affordable room. Area around hotel has restaurants and other amenities.
