"Everything was great apart from the restaurant. Our evening meal was mediocre and quite expensive for what it was. We didn’t have breakfast there for this reason. The bar closed early so no chance of an evening nightcap."

"Just a quick stop over for us. However it was so good and I actually said to my husband that I wish I was staying longer! We had one of the ground level rooms which had what I called “our own backyard” that our toddler was able to play around in so that he wasn’t stuck in the room. Breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing and had heaps of variety, comfy beds (heaven honestly). Our room was super spacious which was an added bonus. They had a portacot for our toddler which was bonus as well. 10/10 will be back whenever I’m in Auckland again overnight."

"Nice room. Lovely staff. VERY handy parking next door. Good location. I don't know what the pool is treated with, but the water was perfect. No stinging eyes, perfect temperature, very happy kids (just beware the slippery tiles) Would stay again."

"Lovely clean comfortable room. I stayed in a Habitat suite. Would have been good to have room service as a treat, was tired from travelling and just wanted a shower and to not go out to the dine in restaurant. They didn't have that service so I got a couple of dinner bits from the vending machine. Was fine, but no healthy options. Reception staff were lovely and it was clean and the decor was stylish throughout. The exterior gardens, visible from lots of windows when walking to my room, hadn't been maintained which was a shame as lots of potential. I would definitely stay again. If funds allow would love one of the funky rooms full of colour and quirk! :)"
