We absolutely loved our stay at Palazzo Gargiulo in Sorrento! It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The location cannot be beat if you want to be near everything. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go and loved our time here. You also get a discount at the beach club and two restaurants which we took advantage of. The breakfast at Da Franco’s was great also! I would recommend this place to friends and will stay again when I come back!

Shout out to Iris. She welcomed us and we felt really welcome. This hotel is in a great location. Just don’t expect to be dropped off at the front door. Room was clean and large for Italy. Included breakfast was not on the property. Had to walk to a restaurant and it isn’t all you can eat. If you’re a big eater. Overall I would definitely stay here next time.

Property is perfectly situated. Close to the sorrento lift to get to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Rooms accessible by elevator. Room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was good (and free) at Da Franco. Had a triple occupancy room. Room was spacious enough for 3 people

Our host Raffella was pro active in providing recommendations , making connections for special sights , bus connections and even physically helping to carry our bags to a taxi stop she set up for us . An exceptionally helpful and charming personality !

This property was phenomenal! We stayed in 5 properties total for our honeymoon and this is our favourite by far. The room was clean, free treats, water (and even champagne for our honeymoon). The staff couldn’t have been nicer. We checked in with Rafaela and she was so kind and funny. She recommended us all sorts of activities. Breakfast that was included was delicious (and great staff there too!) The beach club they are partnered with gives a big discount and it was great there as well! This hotel is central to literally everything and we had no issue getting around! Would 100% stay again

Bang in the middle of the Historic Centre but you wouldn’t notice. Lovely rooms and decent breakfast selection hosted at a nearby Trattoria. We had a private terrace which provided respite from the bustling streets below.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for a stay but difficult to get to. Shops, restaurants and bars nearby 2-3 mins. Our room was on the top floor and we used the stairs, wouldn’t recommend the lift. More basic than others of a similar price, breakfast was 2 mins away in a local restaurant, you’re paying for the location.

The rooms were beautiful, the amenities were great, and the service was impeccable! akin to a 5-start hotel! Iris made our check-in smooth and provided us with all the necessary information. She was very helpful in responding to our questions and made the experience all the more luxurious. Be aware that the tiled bathrooms are a bit slippery.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the staff went above and beyond, I think her name was Iris, she was amazing. Anything we asked for or wanted she was there and so helpful and friendly The room itself was beautiful with tea, coffee machine and fresh fruit daily. Breakfast a short walk and was just so good to start the day that way The location couldn’t have been better, will definitely stay here again We loved it so much and were sad to leave

We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely stay here again. It is an easy walk from the train station (about 10 minutes) and right in the middle of everything. It was easy to find many delicious food options very close to hotel and it is a short walk to the water. The room we stayed in had a small kitchen. Rafaella was very responsive and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff but not present 24/7. “Queen bed” was two small mattresses of average quality pushed together. Tiny shower but you’re in a historic building. You get a stovetop coffee maker to have Italian-style coffee for free every morning!!

Not a luxury experience

We stayed at three hotels during our trip, and unfortunately, this was the most expensive and the most disappointing. It’s marketed as a luxury experience, and that’s what we paid for — but it didn’t deliver. The room was basic, and aside from the location, there was really nothing luxurious about the stay. Customer service was lacking — staff were either unavailable or unfriendly when we needed help. At no point did we feel welcome. When you pay this kind of price, you expect to be looked after. Sadly, that just wasn’t our experience.

El hotel nos gustó mucho y cada detalle de la habitación fue excelente está ubicado entre las tiendas restaurantes no podría ser mejor, la atención de la recepción muy amables, el desayuno estuvo bien lo único que no me gustó fue la poca empatía de la camarera parecía que le molestaba si pedía un café. Después sobre el hotel todo de 10 volveríamos con mucho gusto.
